An on-location drawing log
Every record here comes from one specific outing: a folding stool set down on one specific corner, and the time between unfolding it and closing the book recorded as it happened. There is no tutorial padding — just what that session did, where the light came from, how wide the pavement was, and which pass nearly ruined the page.
The blocks above are only a way in. The real index is the city: sketches from one city sit on the same film strip, which makes it easy to compare the same corner on different days and in different light.
How to read the log
The Atlas/Ledger switch sits at the top: the atlas gives you spatial relationships, while the ledger compresses the very same records into a dated list. The city picker jumps straight to a city page, and clicking a block on the plate narrows the film strips below to that one city.
