Data this site collects directly

The pages are static files. There is no account, no comment box, no newsletter and no form anywhere on the public site, so there is nothing that asks you to type personal details.

The web server records ordinary access logs: the page requested, the time, the referring address, the user agent and an abbreviated IP address. Those logs are used to spot broken pages and abuse and are rotated on the host’s normal schedule.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising and intends to serve ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

The site stores one thing of its own: your atlas-or-ledger preference, kept in your browser’s local storage under the key sketchroam.view. It never leaves your device and there is no server-side record of it.

Advertising and measurement cookies, where present, are set by third parties and are listed in the consent control. Blocking them in your browser does not stop any page on this site from working.

Children, retention and changes

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Server logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for security and diagnostics.

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and any change that widens data collection will be described in plain language rather than buried.
